Jockey Club Policies

Food and beverage: All food and beverage must be supplied by Jockey Club. The Jockey Club is the only authorized licensee to sell and serve food, liquor, beer and wine on the premises. Due to health regulations, no leftover food or beverage can be taken from the premises. Food items cannot be transferred from one event to another.

Banquet prices: All food and beverage prices are guaranteed ninety (90) days prior to the date of the event. The menus are provided on a per person basis unless otherwise stated. Please note that all buffet menus are offered with minimum order requirements and are offered for a maximum of two (2) continuous hours. The Jockey Club will assess a taxable service charge for each additional hour. Your event manager will be happy to customize and tailor specialty menus at your request.

Menu selection: To ensure that every detail is handled in a professional manner, the Jockey Club requires that the menu selections and specific details be finalized tree (3) weeks prior to the event. When the banquet event orders are finalized, please initial each page and sign the last page and return them at least ten (10) working days prior to the first scheduled event.

Guarantee of attendance: We need your assistance in making your banquet a success. The Jockey Club requests a client notify the event manager with the exact number of guests attending each event and the per piece counts three (3) business days. If fewer than the guaranteed number of guests attend the function, the client is charged for the original guaranteed number.

State tax and service charge: The Jockey Club will add 15% service charge and, as of current date, 10% local sales tax on food and beverage in addition to the prices stated in this guide.

Security: The Jockey Club shall not assume responsibility for damage or loss of any merchandise or articles left in the property prior to or following the banquet or meeting. Our security personal is available to make arrangements for the security of exhibits, merchandise and/or articles set up for display prior to the planned event at a designated charge per hour/per security guard.

Property damage: As a patron, you are responsible for any damage to any part of the Jockey Club during the period of time you, your attendees, employees, independent contractors or other agents under control of any independent contractor hired by you, are in the Jockey Club.

Parking: Parking is free for our guests and event attendees; the capacity is for 600 cars.

Prices, exchange rate and payment methods: All menu prices are quoted in US dollars will be maintained until the date in which the deposit is paid. The currency conversion rate will be applied on that day.

Payment methods: All reservations are considered confirmed once a 25% deposit to hold the reservation is made, a minimum of 45 days before the event.

Cancellations: All cancellations made in writing 30 days prior to the event will be charged 10%. Cancellations made in writing within 15 days of the event are charged 25%. Any cancellations made 14 days or less prior to the event date are charged 50%.

Additional services: Musical group, decoration, electrical equipment, fireworks, etc, will be the client’s responsibility and must be made in writing a minimum of 30 days prior to the date of the event. All requests must be approved by the manager. If any permits or permissions are required, the payment of any applicable fees will be the responsibility of the client.
